Mental Health Service Overview
SAFE FUTURE offers mental health evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. We provide psycho-educational testing, psychological testing, and neurodevelopmental testing for children aged 3-18 and adults aged 18-85, conducted by professional counselors such as psychiatrists, PhDs, and master's level practitioners. Their mission is to consider the individual’s physical, emotional, mental, and behavioral conditions, family history of mental illness, and other mental health concerns. Individual treatment plans are developed to meet the specific needs of each person. Our Mental Health Program typically lasts about six months, with individuals progressing through different levels of care based on their individual needs.
Psychiatric Evaluation
Before beginning services, a board-certified psychiatrist at Safe Future LLC will conduct a thorough evaluation to diagnose your mental health condition and create an appropriate treatment plan. This plan may include medications, therapy, and lifestyle changes. The assessment will address various aspects of your life.
Discharge planning
Discharge planning is conducted collaboratively with the client and counselor beginning at the client evaluation appointment. The planning may include making referrals and coordinating with other appropriate community agencies and resources. Referral sources are regularly updated on the client's progress and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition. Clients receive valuable information during treatment, and discharge planning assists them in figuring out how they will apply this information to maintain their treatment goals.
Depending on progression in treatment, clients might be discharged for the following reasons:
